In our practice, orthodontics has evolved over the period of last two decades. Today, we can provide the latest advances that orthodontic treatments can offer. Apart from the conventional metallic and ceramic braces that are used in the adolescent age group, we also have a niche group of patients for whom we are able to provide treatment with invisible aligners known as Invisalign.
Our certified orthodontist, Dr Arun Nayak will examine the patients and do their scans if required, and then advise them on the best mode of treatment.
In the past, we only dealt with adolescent patients in the age group of 11 to 15 and our goal was to try and just help them align their teeth. However, with newer advances, we are looking at an older age group today.
Today, we offer orthodontics services even for our adult patients, in the 35 to 70 years age group, where the sole purpose of the treatment is better alignment of the teeth. Braces in adults have several benefits, the chief being the ability to reconstruct the teeth without having to cut them down too much. Better teeth alignment in adults results in lesser cavities and gum diseases. You are basically increasing the longevity of your teeth to lead a healthier lifestyle.
